Rod Bolls

As the company’s leader and managing director, Rod studied business and international trade, taught English in China, started a business while in grad school, and worked in the storage industry for eight years. Then, he founded Boxwell in 2015. Rod steers his Boulder-based company with the same honesty and integrity that he lives by — prioritizing a balance between working hard and playing hard. He is driven by the idea that the best work is created out of diligence, openness and innovation. His passions outside the office include running ultra-marathons, biking and enjoying time with his wife and two children.
