We value the connections we have with each other + with ourclients andpartners, and we’re all proud of our product and our company culture. While most of us are outgoing and easy to talk with, there are some surprising elements about each team member that you may not know. We invite you to get to know us even better with our Team Spotlights.
This “Inside the Box” features our Director of Operations, Austin Krueger:
1. What is something about yourself that most people don’t know?
AUSTIN: People don’t know that I’m pretty much okay with trying anything. Doesn’t matter if it’s food, sports, singing, etc. I will almost give anything a try! I try not to judge a book by it’s cover, I may or may not like the activity but I believe you should try and make sure before judging it.
2. If you’re having a bad day, what helps?
AUSTIN: Naps. Naps are the key to bad and stressful days for me. It’s the adult version of the “turn it off and back on again” fix.
3. Say you are forced to completely change your career, what would you choose to do instead?
AUSTIN: If I were to choose a completely different career, I would become a pilot. Something about floating in the air above the world is exciting and freeing. When I was 18, I actually flew a helicopter for the first time — it was very fun and opened me to the idea!
4. Tell us about your ideal vacation. If you can only bring a backpack for the week, what would you bring?
AUSTIN: My ideal vacation would be going someplace warm with a beach. We live close to mountains and snow, so any chance I can get to head to the warm weather, I take it! In my backpack, I’d have clothes, shoes, beer, and sunscreen (because even though I like the sun, I fry quickly).
5. When you were 10 years old, what did you imagine you’d be doing now?
AUSTIN: When I was 10 years old, I had my eyes on the big stage. I thought I was going to be a professional athlete of some sort. I always played sports growing up and was even on one of the top traveling sports teams in Colorado for many years.
6. Favorite movie?
AUSTIN: That is a hard question because I enjoy many different types of movies. Here are a few… For a funny movie, it would be anything with Adam Sandler — I think he is great! For action, it would be the “Fast and Furious” movies. For a scary movie, it would be “Wrong Turn”. For a thriller, it would be “The Call”.
7. Best sandwich?
AUSTIN: My go to sandwich has and always will be the spicy chicken sandwich. Doesn’t matter where you go, it is always good. It is actually amazing all the different ways to make a spicy chicken sandwich…. no two places do it the same way.
