This week’s Inside the Box features Ryker Stark, our Financial Analyst.
Ryker Stark first joined Boxwell as a part-time sales assistant during his sophomore year at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. Juggling a demanding academic schedule and the search for meaningful work, he was drawn to Boxwell’s dynamic and close-knit culture. His time here gave him hands-on experience and allowed him to grow alongside mentors who valued his input and encouraged his development. Ryker’s journey with Boxwell reflects our company’s commitment to fostering talent.
Ryker’s impact at Boxwell goes far beyond his analytical expertise. He’s a problem-solver, a curious thinker, and someone who takes initiative without hesitation. His thoughtful approach to challenges inspires the team to find the right balance between ambition and careful reflection. As he puts it:

What experiences led you to where you are today?
From my first meeting with the Boxwell team and Rod, I was immediately drawn to the hardworking, personable, and tight-knit culture they had built. Under the mentorship of Rod, Austin, and Tanya, I quickly grew skills to become an integral part of the team. After graduating in May, I stepped into a full-time role as a Financial Analyst, where I now contribute to Boxwell’s strategic business initiatives, including our exciting expansion into Boxwell hallway systems.
What is something about yourself that most people do not know?
One of my favorite things is trying new foods. I will try pretty much anything, but I cannot handle anything spicy.
If you are having a tough day, what helps you bounce back?
Getting outside to bike, run, or ski always helps. Spending time with my nearby family and friends also makes a big difference.
If you had to completely change careers, what would you choose to do?
I have a degree in finance and real estate, which I use at Boxwell all the time. However, if I had to choose a different path, I would probably pursue real estate brokerage or hotel development so that I could travel as well.
Describe your dream vacation.
I love anywhere with a warm beach and have enjoyed visiting Europe. My dream vacation would be traveling all around Europe and the Mediterranean with a group of friends and family—hopefully on a boat too!
When you were 10, what did you dream of becoming as an adult?
When I was 10, I wanted to be an airline pilot (I even dressed as one for Halloween). While that is no longer my goal, I would still love to get my pilot’s license and fly for fun someday!
What is your favorite movie?
A movie I love to watch every Christmas is Elf. It’s always funny and perfect for the holidays.
What is the best sandwich you have ever had?
The best sandwich I’ve ever had has to be the green chili burger from The Village Coffee Shop in Boulder. It was a tradition to get one with my dad after hikes growing up, and I still love to get one when I can.
