
The Boxwell Summit 2024 was a 3-day, invitation-only annual event in Boulder, CO. Our trade show is tailored for professionals in the portable storage industry. Formerly President of the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA), Jessica is now Business Development Manager at StorSuite. She delivered an engaging session on digital marketing and customer experience. She focused her presentation on website optimization, SEO, and content marketing. These are the essential tools for storage businesses to thrive in the portable storage digital landscape.
A key point of Jessica’s presentation is that customers appreciate knowing you are a small, local business. Do not hide this—embrace it! Jessica emphasized that AI-generated content is a great starting point. But it should always be supplemented with human expertise. In-depth, high-quality content helps boost rankings and engagement. AI tends to summarize everything. Be sure you include detailed, original content.
Social Media Engagement: It is a good practice to use customer testimonials wherever you can! Share behind-the-scenes content so customers can see how your business runs. Also, be sure to partner with local influencers to humanize your brand. Remember the ratio for social media strategies, which is 80-20. Engage 80% educational/interactive, and use promotional content 20%.
