Here’s a look at some of the biggest updates from Q3 and what’s ahead for Boxwell in Q4.
Partner Spotlight: Boxwell + STREPPEL
One of our biggest Q3 announcements was our new strategic partnership with STREPPEL, a leading European specialist in foldable, fully insulated relocatable storage solutions.
Headquartered in the Netherlands and led by Dutch self-storage entrepreneurs Maarten and Jan-Hein Streppel. STREPPEL has helped establish relocatable storage as a trusted option for European operators since 2018. Today, STREPPEL storage solutions can be found in approximately 300 locations across Europe, from Norway and Iceland to Spain.
The partnership combines STREPPEL’s European self-storage expertise with Boxwell’s manufacturing, engineering, and product development capabilities. Together, the teams have developed an updated foldable, fully insulated storage container with reinforced roofs, thicker steel, and redesigned partition walls for added strength and faster installation.
Already, the new system has reached facilities in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and Sweden. This marks an exciting step in supporting the growth of external storage across Europe.

A Look Back at FEDESSA 2026
In September, the Boxwell team, and our European distributor network, headed to Wiesbaden, Germany, for the 2026 FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show.
The event brought together self-storage professionals from across Europe and beyond for three days of industry conversations, education, networking, and new ideas.
For Boxwell, FEDESSA was also an important opportunity to showcase our new partnership with STREPPEL and connect with operators looking for flexible ways to grow their facilities across the European market.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the STREPPEL booth and joined us for Boxtober Fest. We enjoyed catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones along the way.
Congratulations to Blue Self Storage
FEDESSA also brought some exciting news for one of our customers.
Congratulations to blue self storage’s Treforest facility in Wales, which was named the 2026 FEDESSA External Storage Site of the year. Notably, this follows blue self storage’s 2025 win in the same category for its Llanishen location. This gives the company back-to-back External Storage Site of the Year awards.
We’re proud to work with the blue self storage team and celebrate their continued growth and recognition across the European self-storage industry.
Next Stop: Modern Storage Media’s THE Show 2026
We’re wrapping up the year with a new major industry event.
Boxwell is exhibiting at THE Show, November 4-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
This year, we’re going bigger. Attendees can see Boxwell relocatable self-storage units and a hallway system firsthand. They will also be able to meet with our team to discuss upcoming projects, facility expansions, and storage solutions.
